LSG managed to defeat DC by 6 runs with the help of brilliant knock from KL Rahul and terrific bowling performance of Mohsin Khan. Initially, Lucknow winning the toss opted to bat first and posted a total of 195/3. KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda had a brilliant 95 partnership for 2nd wicket which set them a beautiful platform to post a big total on board.
DC despite losing 2 early wickets kept going at the target as Mitchell Marsh and Rishabh Pant were playing attacking cricket, while brilliant effort from Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav ended in vain as they were not able to cross the winning line unfortunately. Mohsin Khan was the standout performer in that innings with the ball registering figure of 4/16.
