Gujarat Titans have pulled off an incredible victory against Delhi Capitals with the help of terrific bowling attack from Lockie Ferguson who helped to defend a total of 171 runs with his four-wicket haul, despite the dew factor coming in for the chase. Delhi Capitals initially winning the toss invited Gujarat to bat first and in the 1st innings for most part of the innings they had Titans in control but Shubman Gill's impressive 84 from 46 balls had set the momentum for his team to post a challenging target on board for the Delhi team. Mustafizur Rahman and Khaleel Ahmed were very good with the ball in 1st innings of the match.
On the other hand, Delhi Capitals in the chase despite losing 3 wickets inside the powerplay had a chance to win this game as Rishabh Pant and Lalit Yadav were batting beautifully in the middle but unfortunately Lalit Yadav's run-out proved to be too costly since post that wicket Delhi never got going and kept losing wickets at regular interval which meant they ended up falling short of target by 15 runs. Lockie Ferguson was pick of the player for Gujarat Titans as he ended up with bowling figures of 4/28 and he was awarded the Player of the Match award for his brilliant four-wicket haul in the game.
