Mumbai Indians ended IPL 2022 on a high note by defeating Delhi Capitals by 5 wickets (with 5 balls to be spared). MI winning the toss invited DC to bat and they managed to post 159 runs on board with the help of Rishabh Pant and Rovman Powell's 75-run partnership. Jasprit Bumrah stunned DC batters through his terrific spell as he ended up with bowling figures of 3/25 in his quota of 4 overs.
MI chasing 160 initially lacked intent with the bat as they scored just 44/1 at the end of 9 overs, but decent contribution from Ishan Kishan and Dewald Brevis helped MI to make a recovery and Tim David's brutal power hitting totally changed the match in favour of Mumbai as he helped RCB to qualify for IPL 2022 Playoffs.
