Punjab Kings posted a huge total of 187/4 on board with the help of opener Shikhar Dhawan's stunning knock off 88 from 59 balls in their contest against Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Monday. Initially, in the powerplay, Chennai's Maheesh Theekshana got the wicket of skipper Mayank Agarwal but post that the pair of Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Dhawan played sensibly and Liam Livingstone's 19 off 7 balls, in the end, pushed the side to what eventually turned out to be a match-winning total.

CSK in the run chase had a terrible start as they were 3 down for 40 runs at end of 7 overs but Rayudu's 78 from 39 balls provided hope for millions of Chennai fans to seal a win in this game. For Punjab, both Kagiso Rabada and Arshdeep Singh were brilliant with the ball as they ended up conceding only 46 runs in the space of 8 overs.
