KKR after winning the toss as expected bowled first and destroyed Punjab batting attack as Umesh Yadav breathed fire with the ball in his spell. Initially, PBKS were playing aggressive brand of cricket as Rajapaksa smashed 31 from 9 balls which helped Punjab score 62 runs in the powerplay itself.
