Punjab Kings have beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 7 runs in DLS method with the help of brilliant innings from Bhanuka Rajapaksa and stunning 3 wicket haul from Arshdeep Singh respectively. Talking about the game KKR winning the toss invited PBKS to bat first and they posted a huge total of 191/5 on board. Tim Southee was very expensive with the ball despite picking 2 wickets, while Umesh Yadav and Varun Chakravarthy bowled impressive bowling spell respectively.
KKR chasing 192 runs, kept losing wickets at regular intervals and were reduced to 80/5 at one stage but Andre Russell's phenomenal knock gave life to KKR in this game and they managed to reach a total of 146/7 at the end of 16 overs but unfortunately match got interrupted at that stage due to rain, thus the game was awarded for Punjab with DLS rule.
