Lucknow Super Giants have defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets in match number 58 of the IPL 2023 with the help of a solid effort from Prerak Mankad and a scintillating batting display from Nicholas Pooran. SRH batting first posted 182/6 on board with the help of brilliant knocks from Heinrich Klaasen, Abdul Samad, and Anmolpreet Singh. Lucknow skipper Krunal Pandya impressed everyone with the ball by ending with bowling figures of 2/24 in four overs.
LSG chasing 183 runs, started their chase poorly, with their opening batsman Kyle Mayers being dismissed for two runs, and at the end of the first six overs, they scored only 30/1. SRH was dominant in the run-chase until the 12th over of the match as LSG were 75/2 at that stage, needing 108 runs in the last eight overs, but Nicholas Pooran's quick-fire knock of 44 runs from 13 balls helped the Lucknow side to score 110 runs in 44 balls at the back end of the innings to help his side win by four balls to spare.
