The Royal Challengers Bangalore once again missed out on a playoff spot despite playing some great cricket. The Bangalore-based franchise had some stunning performances but a few lapses here and there pushed Faf du Plessis and Co. out of the playoffs. Indian batting great Virat Kohli had another remarkable season with the bat and finished among the highest run-scorers in IPL 2024.

Suprisingly the RCB batting emerged as a weakness with no other batting stepping up other than Faf, Kohli and Glenn Maxwell. Hence for 2024, Bangalore would hope to flush out these issues and win the elusive title. For the upcoming mini-auction, Royal Challengers Bangalore have INR INR 1.75 crore (USD 0.21 million) in their purse.
