With the talks around the Indian Premier League (IPL) intensifying, the General Council is expected to meet on Saturday, September 28 to discuss and finalise the retention rules with the IPL mega auction scheduled to take place later this year. Furthermore, sources informed that “it was a last minute decision to call for the IPL GC on Saturday as the notices for the meeting were sent only on Friday evening to the members.”
