Former Pakistan pacer Sohail Khan has been making a lot of headlines in India and Pakistan, for his over-exaggerated comments on Indian cricketers. After taking potshots at Virat Kohli, Khan has now targeted a young Indian pacer by claiming that there are many like him in Pakistan’s domestic circuit.

While speaking on Nadir Ali's Podcast, Sohail Khan said that Umran Malik is a good bowler but claimed that Pakistan is a real hub of bowlers with extraordinary pace.
The 25-year-old Indian pacer has made a name for himself in a very short span due to his unique ability to constantly bowl over 150 kmph.
“I feel this Umran Malik guy is a good bowler. I’ve seen 1-2 matches. He runs fast and has kept other things in check as well. But if you think of fast bowlers with speed in excess of over 150 kph, I can count 12-15 players right now who play tape-ball cricket. If you go visit the trails organised by Lahore Qalandars, you’ll find many players," Sohail said.
The Pakistan cricketer further claimed that Pak’s domestic circuit is filled with such pacers. “We have lot of such players who can bowl at such pace. When a bowler comes through in our domestic level, he becomes bonafide bowler. Like Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf – these are the bowlers who know their stuff. I can give you plenty of names,” Khan added.

He further claimed that Shoaib Akhtar’s record can only be broken by a machine, and not a human being. “There is only one thing that can break Shoaib Akhtar’s record, and that is called a bowling machine because no human can ever do it. The reason is that the amount of hard work that Shoaib had put in, no one has", said Sohail.
