India’s head coach Rahul Dravid has finally solved the mystery which engaged Indian cricket fans for more than 24 hours. When former Indian skipper Virat Kohli showed his excitement over a food order during the 2nd Test at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, social media was flooded with speculations regarding what was inside the packet.
While most cricket fans speculated that it was chole bhature from Virat Kohli’s favorite restaurant Ram ke Chole Bhature, Rahul Dravid broke the silence on the mystery by revealing that it was not ‘Chole Bhature’ but ‘Chole Kulche.’
While having a chat with Mayanti Langer after 2nd Test in Delhi, the Indian head coach revealed that it was actually Chole Kulche.
We will continue to back KL: Dravid
While addressing the media after 2nd Test, Rahul Dravid backed KL Rahul by stating that he has been one of the most successful overseas openers. “He has got hundred in South Africa, England and the team management will continue to back him. I believe he has the quality and class to come out of this phase,” said Rahul Dravid.
Indian head coach also heaped praise on the Indian skipper for his leadership skills in the first two games. “He is one of those guys in the dressing room who has a lot of respect. The kind of guy who listens to everyone and when he does everyone listens to him. We are lucky that he has succeeded captaincy from someone like Virat Kohli,” added Rahul Dravid.
While Ravindra Jadeja was adjudged Player of the Match for his incredible spell in the second Test, the Indian head coach believes that it was the partnership between R Ashwin and Axar Patel that proved to be a game-changer.
“This Test match moved up and down, but today morning it moved really quickly for us. I think it was the partnership between Axar and Ashwin that changed things. We wanted to chase something close to 200-225 and that partnership enabled us to get back, or we had been trailing," Dravid concluded.
