After winning the first T20I against England by 50 runs, Team India will look to seal the three-match series by registering a win in the second T20I on Saturday at Edgbaston in Birmingham. India have announced their playing XI and snubbed in-form batsman Deepak Hooda, setting Twitter ablaze.

The captain of the 5th rescheduled Test against England, Jasprit Bumrah is set to replace the young bowler Arshdeep Singh. Similarly, Indian team management have replaced the likes of Deepak Hooda, Ishan Kishan and Axar Patel with Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja.

The decision of replacing in-form Deepak Hooda with out-of-form Virat Kohli has garnered a feeling of distress from the fans across the country. The fans took to Twitter to express their dismay with the decision.

Earlier, veteran pacer Ishant Sharma had his say on the ongoing selection procedure of Team India. "I think it will be hard on Deepak Hooda because Virat Kohli will come in at No.3. It is something that no matter how much you try to tell yourself, the truth is that if Kohli is available, he will play," he had said.
