The feud between Draymond Green and Jordan Poole has taken a new turn, as Poole's best friend Ralen Brown has blasted Green for his comments and actions towards Poole. Brown, took to Instagram to defend his friend and call out Green for his lack of leadership and respect.

Green, who is known for his fiery personality and trash talk, recently appeared on The Pat Bev Podcast with Rone and talked about the incident that happened last summer, when he punched Poole in the face during a practice session. Green said that he did it because Poole was not listening to him and that he had no regrets about it.

Ralen Brown, who is Poole's childhood friend and former teammate at La Lumiere School in Indiana, joined the fray and posted a lengthy message on his Instagram story, accusing Green of being a hypocrite and a bad teammate. He said that Green used to be their mentor and friend, but then turned on them for no reason and also questioned why Green would hit his "lil homie" like that and said that he had "bad energy" towards Poole.

Brown also shared a video of Green praising Poole during their rookie season, saying that they were "special" and that he loved them. He implied that Green was being fake and insincere with his compliments. Brown said, “He literally took us under his wing because of the Midwest connection & was over his house during the pandemic all the time, he supposedly called himself our OG and LEADER. You can see how proud he was in this video, but what changed? A lot of y'all hoop, how many times at practice you swung on your lil homie like that."

The feud between Green and Poole has been one of the most talked-about topics in the NBA lately, as it exposes the tension and drama within the Golden State Warriors locker room. Although the two are no longer teammates, the incident between the two last season played a major role in how their season turned out.

It remains to be seen how this situation will affect the relationship between the Warriors and the Wizards, who are set to face each other twice in the upcoming season. It will also be interesting to see how Poole will perform in his new team in Washington Wizards who finished 12th in the Eastern Conference last season.
