Chasing a target of 193 runs, India were bowled out for 170 runs on day five as England clinched a thrilling 22-run win to go 2-1 up in the series. Although India lost the Test match, it turned out to be a memorable game for KL Rahul as he brought up his second Test ton at Lords in the first innings.
After 128-run in India’s famous win at Lords in 2021, KL Rahul once again reached the triple-figure mark as India played a Test at Lords after four years. With this, Rahul etched his name in the Lord's Honours Boards for the second time. He scored 100(177) runs as India scored the same as England in the first innings.
