In a shocking news, a 27-year-old national level kabaddi player has accused her coach of sexually assaulting her. This incident came under the limelight on Tuesday (7 February) when a case was filed after an FIR was reported last week.

As per the reports, the complainant informed the police that she was preparing for kabaddi competitions in Hirakunda near Mundka in West Bengal since 2012. She also revealed that her coach tried to make sexual relation with her without consent in 2015.

 

To add more to this, the kabaddi player accused the coach of forcing her to give him part of the earnings from the competition that she won in 2018. Following the threatening messages, the player reportedly transferred INR 43.5 lakh to the bank account of the accused coach Joginder.

 

However, the player got married in 2021, the accused continued to blackmail her, threatening to leak her private photographs. After the case was registered recently, the police has launched a probe on the matter.

 

The police confirmed that they received the complaint last week from the Baba Haridas Nagar police station. “The suspect had an academy where she came in contact with him, the officer further revealed.
