American streamer Kai Cenat has officially overtaken Ninja to become the second-most subscribed streamer of all time on Twitch. Cenat broke Ninja’s record on February 28 during his 30-day-subathon. Kai Cenat kickstarted his first subathon on February 1 and has since broken multiple records.

Kai Cenat beat the previous record of 269,000 concurrent subscribers and now is just behind Ludwig, who is currently holding the record. Cenat shouted out Ninja after overtaking him and expressed gratitude towards him.

The 21-year-old New York native said, “Shout out to Ninja. Ninja, salute to you, bro! Ninja, salute to you! Bro, oh my f**king... oh my god! 270, chat. 270! All love to Ninja! You feel what I'm saying? All love to Ninja, bro."

Kai Cenat also tweeted after reaching this massive milestone and stated that his Job is not finished. He tweeted, "Job's not finished, at all! 270, just like that, we're at 2-f**king-70 with full 72 hours left! Oh my god, damn! That s**t is crazy, bruh! Bro, 270, chat!"

Tyler "Ninja" Blevins originally set this monumental record back in April 2018 during the heyday of Fortnite’s popularity. Ninja was ab gained 269,154 subscribers in total. But three years later, Ninja’s record was beaten by Ludwig during his iconic subathon in April of 2021.

Ludwig Ahgren is the current holder of the all-time record on the platform with 283,066 Twitch subscribers. Hence Kai is still away from the record as he needs at least another 13,000 subs. Cenat’s subathon will end on March 2, so he still has time to break another historic record.
