Kostas Tsimikas, a Greek international who plays as a left-back for Premier League defending champions Liverpool, is all set to make his way out of the setup. Although, Tsimikas has been a reliable player for The Reds, and even played a pivotal role in their title win, the 29-year-old left-back has been linked with several clubs in the ongoing transfer window.

According to the latest developments, Tsimikas might be joining another club before the end of the transfer window as he is reportedly not included in the plans of the Liverpool manager Arne Slot. Liverpool are open to let the Greek international move on a permanent or loan deal, as reported by Fabrizio Romano. Slot is currently counting on their new signing in Milos Kerkez and Andy Robertson to be the starters this season. The exit of Tsimikas from the squad might be beneficial for Liverpool to cash in on their missing piece of the puzzle, Alexander Isak from Newcastle United.

Nicknamed by the fans as ‘Greek Scouser’, Tsimikas is now ready for a new challenge as he believes that it is the right time for him to shift gears and earn more game time. Tsimikas is a versatile player who steps up for the team when needed the most, be it through his attacking contributions or his clean tackles, Tsimikas provides the team a lot of confidence with his playing style.
