England and India are scheduled to face each other in the fourth Test of a five-match series which will be played at Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester from July 23 to 27. It will be a crucial game for India who are trailing by 1-2 in the series. Looking for their first Test series win in England after 2007, India will be looking to form a balanced side for the Manchester Test and level the series by 2-2.

There has been a lot of debate regarding the selection of leg spinner Kuldeep Yadav in the ongoing Test series against England. Despite great numbers in his short Test career so far, Kuldeep didn’t get to a play a single Test against England in the ongoing series so far. However, former England pacer Steve Harmison suggested India to go with Kuldeep for the fourth Test in Manchester.

Can you play three spinners?: Steve Harmison on India’s probable line-up for Manchester Test

In his conversation with Star Sports, Steve Harmison opened the possibility of playing three spinners in the fourth Test in Manchester by advising India to include Kuldeep Yadav in their lineup. He also asked if Washington Sundar can be dropped to give chance to Kuldeep who will then be playing as a second spin bowler along with Ravindra Jadeja.

"You can't drop Jadeja, you can't drop Sundar. Can you play three spinners? That will be a big ask. As much as I think it will be right to play Kuldeep, I am not sure how you get him in. If you drop a batter like they did in the first Test match and everyone move up one. It will be a big call. Is it Washington Sundar who misses out? I wouldn't like to make that call,” Steve Harmison said.

"I think it would. It is not going to bounce for Kuldeep, but I think it will spin, no doubt it will, as the Test match goes on. We have had three Test matches go into the fifth day. I think India have had to have a serious consideration because at this moment their side is balanced," the former cricketer added.
