LeBron James has raised the hopes of NBA and Team USA fans about his participation in the 2024 Olympics with his cryptic response to a possible Team USA Olympics roster. The photo went viral after the USA crashed out of the FIBA World Cup  2023  in a  113–111 loss to  Germany.

The USA were shocked by a German team with a handful of NBA players and would be disappointed at a second consecutive failure to win the title. After the loss, there was a lot of speculation on Lebron James coming back to bolster the squad for the next year’s Paris Olympics, and King James added fuel to the fire by posting a cryptic comment under the photo of the potential roster in Paris next year.

James commented with the side-eye emoji under SportsCenter’s post on Instagram. The post had a potential 2024 roster featuring James, Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum, Jimmy Butler, Devin Booker, Stephen Curry, Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, and Kawhi Leonard.

It's an inviting prospect to see LeBron back in the squad and team up with Steph Curry and Kevin Durant at the Olympics, especially after this year’s disappointment. James previously won bronze with Team USA at the 2004 Summer Olympics and gold in both 2008 and 2012, but he opted against playing in 2016 and 2020.
