Leeds United are reportedly considering a move to sign English striker Jamie Vardy, who is set to leave Leicester City after his contract with them expires in the summer. With their return to the Premier League set for the upcoming 2025-26 season, Leeds United will be looking to do some serious business in the transfer market this summer, and signing Jamie Vardy, one of the most prominent strikers in the league for the better part of last decade, could be the way to go for them.

As per the report from TEAMtalk, Wrexham, who were linked with Jamie Vardy after his announcement of leaving Leicester City, could be going after one of the Leeds United strikers, namely Joel Piroe, Mateo Joseph, and Patrick Bamford after winning promotion to the Championship from League One. It is also understood that Jamie Vardy aims to be a part of football at the highest level, with his preference being the Premier League, which could sway him to move to Leeds United.

Burnley could also be an option for Jamie Vardy since they have also won promotion to the Premier League

Apart from Leeds United, Burnley could also be an option for Jamie Vardy since they have also won promotion to the Premier League from the Championship. Since the English striker will be without a contract in the summer, he could be a bargain option for two of the newest additions to the Premier League since they can sign him on a free transfer via a pre-contract agreement.

Moreover, Rangers and Celtic, two of the biggest clubs in Scotland, have been linked with Jamie Vardy in regard to signing them in the summer. But, at the same time, it is important to note that if they pursue the English striker then it will be completely different from their transfer policy of developing younger players and selling them away for profit.
