The exhibition match between Indian Maharajas and World Giants is being played at iconic Eden Garden in Kolkata. After Jacques Kallis opted to bat first, World Giants openers proved him right as they added 50 runs for the first wicket of the first innings. While t he India Maharajas bowlers did well by bowling economic overs and picking up couple of wickets, one of Ashok Dinda's delivery leaked five runs as penalty.

In the 13th over of the first innings, Dinda bowled the full-length delivery wide outside off, and Giants batter Thisara Perera tried to hit but the ball took an inside edge and went straight to the keeper. Parthiv Patel who is donning the keeping gloves for Indian Maharajas, could not hold on the ball and let it hit his helmet conceding five-penalty runs to the Giants.
