Lionel Messi is having a stellar season with PSG with 15 goals and 15 assists after making 21 appearances in the Ligue 1 so far, but his contract expires by the end of the season. The Argentine is reportedly looking to move and is linked with various clubs including his boyhood club Barcelona. Amid rumours, Messi was spotted having dinner with his former Barcelona teammates in Catalonia.

Leo Messi was spotted leaving a restaurant with former teammates Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets in Barcelona on April 24, a video has gone viral on social media. One footage showed the 35-year-old leaving a restaurant in the city with the Barcelona stars. The trio was accompanied by their companions and the group reportedly spent three hours together before leaving.

The PSG star previously had dinner with Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets in February and he maintains a good relationship with the two. Jordi Alba spoke to Goal last week about the possibility of Messi returning to Barcelona, “It is Leo's decision. Honestly, we haven't talked about this topic, but it's clear that in the end, seeing Messi with another shirt other than Barça's is always weird."

The possible return of the star is talked about in the Spanish media and only time will tell if it is possible for Barcelona to bring back their talisman. The club will have to take immense financial measures and cut wages to make it feasible for the World Cup winner to come back as said by Javier Tebas the President of Laliga, “Barça must take many financial measures to undertake Messi’s registration. They need a lot of effort to make it happen.” He is linked with many clubs including Inter Miami in the MLS, Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia, and back to Barcelona in Spain.
