In day-4 of BAN vs IND 1st Test match, Zakir Hasan went on to smash century in his debut Test itself. Notably, the debutant Zakir Hasan performed well in the 1st warmup Test vs India A team by smashing 173 from 402 balls and helped his side to draw that game.

1. Aminul Islam:
Bangladesh attained test status in the year 2000 and they played their first Test match against India at Dhaka on 10 Nov, 2000.  Aminul Islam coming in at number 4 position smashed 145 runs off 380 balls at Dhaka and helped his side to post a total of 400 runs in Bangladesh's first Test match itself.

2. Mohammad Ashraful:
Mohammad Ashraful made his Test debut on Sep, 2001 in the Asian Test Championship against Sri Lanka at Colombo (SSC) venue. Mahmudullah smashed 114 runs off 212 balls in 3rd innings (f/o) of that Test match but despite his effort Bangladesh ended up losing to Sri Lanka by a margin of innings and 137 runs.

3. Abul Hasan:
Abul Hasan in  his debut Test match against West Indies came in to bat at a very tough situation (no.10 position) of 193/8 and his unbelievable knock off 113 from 123 balls helped his team to post a total of 387 runs. His 184 run partnership for 9th wicket with Mahmudullah proved to be game changing one at that time (2012).

4. Zakir Hasan:
Bangladeshi opening batsman Zakir Hasan got a very good opening partnership with Najmul Hossain Shanto in this game and finally reached the milestone of century in his debut Test itself against India today.
