Preview

In the second match of the third edition of the Legends League Cricket (LLC), India Maharajas and World Giants will be squaring off against each other. While it will be the second match for India Maharajas, World Giants will be taking guard for the first time in this edition. Gautam Gambhir-led Maharajas did a good job against Asia Lions, reducing them to 18/2 in their first 13 balls. They will be hoping for a similar show against the World Giants.

However, the Giants have got some really good players in their squad. While they have got the likes of Chris Gayle, Shane Watson, Hashim Alma, and Jacques Kallis in their batting lineup, the World Giants' bowling lineup looks scary too. Brett Lee will headline their pace attack while Monty Panesar will be the lead spinner. It is expected to be a thrilling contest with both teams going full throttle.

Pitch Report

The pitch at West End Park International Cricket Stadium, Doha is generally a slow track where hitting through the line is not easy. Spinners get a lot of purchase here and hence it is expected to be a low-scoring game.

India Maharajas Squad: Gautam Gambhir (c), Stuart Binny, Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan, Suresh Raina, Mohammad Kaif, M Vijay, Harbhajan Singh, S Sreesanth, Praveen Kumar, Reetinder Sodhi, Manvinder Bisla, Pragyan Ojha, Robin Uthappa, Ashok Dinda, Joginder Sharma, Parvinder Awana, Pravin Tambe.
