Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif praised India batter Virat Kohli ahead of the ODI World Cup 2023 final between India and Australia. Kaif also extended her support to team India as the Men in Blue are set to play against the five-time champions in the summit clash of the 2023 World Cup. The final will take place on November 19, Sunday, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Ahead of the big match, Kaif hosted an ‘Ask me Anything’ session for her fans on Instagram, where she heaped praise on the Indian batting icon, Virat Kohli. Katrina and her husband, Vicky Kaushal, are neighbours to Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. When a fan asked her to “say something about Virat Kohli”, she described the former captain as a ‘lovely neighbour’.
Answering the fan’s question, she said, “Superstar, inspiration…..and the most lovely neighbour.” The 35-year-old recently registered his 50th ODI ton to surpass Indian batting stalwart Sachin Tendulkar’s record. The cricketer also registered his eighth half-century in the ongoing season of the tournament.
The Delhi-born cricketer played several key innings for India to help his side register their berth in the finale of the tournament. The two-time champions just stand a match away from clinching the coveted title for the third time.
