The ODI World Cup 2023 final is slated to be hosted on November 19, Sunday, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The hosts, after displaying exemplary skills on the field became the firsts to secure their berth in the final. The Rohit Sharma-led squad defeated previous finalists, New Zealand, to advance to the summit clash. They were later joined by five-time champions Australia, who overcame the Protean challenge to reserve the final berth.
Both the teams have played brilliant cricket throughout the tournament. While the Men in Blue run on an undefeated streak of 10 matches, Aussies made a strong comeback in the tournament after getting off to a shaky start. After losing their first two encounters, the Baggy Greens remained undefeated in the last eight fixtures. Needless to say, both teams are in their best form, and the final battle is expected to be a high-voltage clash.
