The injury demanded Lucas stay out of action for the next three weeks. The unfortunate injury took place when Real Madrid was playing against Atletico Madrid on Saturday when he entered the contest in the 81st minute as a substitute. The game ended in a 1-1 draw.
The Galacticos in their official statement, which was released on Sunday, said, "Following tests carried out on Lucas Vazquez today by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in his left hamstring." "He will not be in the squad to travel to Manchester," the Champions League holders added.
