Indian Premier League franchise, Lucknow Super Giants, is set to bid for Australian World Cup-winning captain Pat Cummins in the IPL 2024 auction. The mega event will take place on December 19 in Dubai's Coca-Cola arena where over 300 players will be on the market for the 77 vacant spots ahead of the IPL 2024 season.

Further talking about the auction, SportsTiger understands that the KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants have made Pat Cummins one of their key targets. Cummins is set to be one of the most sought-after players in the auction with his world-class bowling ability combined with reliable batting prowess and astute leadership skills.
Pat Cummins has enrolled himself at a base price of INR 2 Crore and will be part of Set 2 which includes capped all-rounders. Other players from this set are South Africa's Gerald Coetzee, Wanindu Hasaranga of Sri Lanka, New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell and Rachin Ravindra, Afghani Azmatullah Omarzai, Harshal Patel and Shardul Thakur from India and England's Chris Woakes.

Talking about Lucknow Super Giants' makeup for auction, LSG has INR 13.15 crore left with a squad of 19 players out of which six are overseas players. Ahead of the auction, Lucknow traded for top-order batter Devdutt Paddikal and sent fast bowler Avesh Khan to the Rajasthan Royals.
