The Maharashtra Premier League (MPL) is a domestic league which is based in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The tournament was founded by the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) in 2023 when the first edition of the league took place . The T20-based competition is set to kickstart on June 2, 2024.
The league consists of six teams that will compete in the double-robin format followed by the playoffs game, an eliminator, and the summit clash. Six participating teams in the event are Ratnagiri Jets, Kolhapur Tuskers, Solapur Royals, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Kings, Puneri Bappa, and Eagle Nashik Titans.

The second edition is slated to begin on June 2 with the six teams to play in the double round-robin format, like the first edition. The top four teams will proceed to the playoffs following which an eliminator will be played. The two most convincing sides will meet in the Grand Final which is scheduled to be played at Gahunje Stadium, Pune.
