Former cricketers and some of the greats of the game of cricket are currently featuring in the Legends League Cricket (LLC) Masters in Doha. The league also features retired Pakistan cricketers including Shahid Afridi, Mishab-ul-Haq, Shoaib Akhtar and a few others. All these names are part of the Asia Lions team in the ongoing LLC Masters.

While the players are having a great time on the cricket field, few of these former Pakistan cricketers were seen enjoying and spending quality time in a restaurant in Doha. Former pacer Shoaib Akhtar took to social media to share a video of these players enjoying an outing.
In the video shared by Akhtar, Asia Lions skipper Shahid Afridi took a dig at Shoaib Akhtar after the latter made a comment on the current Pakistan national team. “Main toh keh raha hu Ishaq Dar (Pakistan Finance Minister) sahab ki chutti karwao, Shoaib Akhtar ko Finance Minister leke aao. Isko brand banane aate hai, ye brand banayega (I’m telling tou to relive Ishaq Dar of his duties. Bring Shoaib Akhtar as the Finance Minister. He knows how to build a brand, he will make brand),” said Afridi while the other players shared a laugh.

This remark of Afridi comes after the former Pakistan speedster said that Babar Azam is not a “brand” in Pakistan because he has difficulties in making conversations in English.
Talking about the ongoing Legends League Cricket (LLC) Masters, the Shahid Afridi-led Asia Lions are placed second in the points table having won two games and losing one. They will next lock horns with World Giants in a reverse fixture on March 16 at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium, Doha.
