Team India registered their first series win against South Africa in T20Is at home after the Men in Blue defeated the visitors by 16 runs in the 2 nd  T20I. It was a run-fest in Guwahati as over 400 runs were scored in 20 overs. While David Miller was the top scorer of the match with a stunning century, it was Suryakumar Yadav’s knock that had lit up the stadium on Sunday. The Indian batter scored a 18-ball fifty, which included 5 fours and 5 sixes. SKY was well supported by Virat Kohli who scored an unbeaten 49 as India posted a mammoth total of 237 on board.

After the game, Yadav posted his picture from the game on his social media and wrote, “2/2 IN”.

Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli lauded the Mumbai Indians batter in Marathi and commented, “ Manla re bhauuuuu”.

Team India will now look to register a series whitewash when they will face the Proteas side for 3rd  and final T20I on Tuesday in Indore. After the conclusion of the T20I series, the senior players will take a break ahead of the T20 World Cup. Shikhar Dhawan will lead a young side in the 3-match ODI series against South Africa starting from October 6.
