Manny Pacquiao, one of the greatest boxers of all-time, is set to return to the boxing ring in an exhibition fight against the kickboxing star Buakaw Banchamek on April 20th. The event where these two combat sports athletes will take on each other is “The Match of The Legends,” which will be held at the Impact Arena in Bangkok.
In 2021, Manny Pacquiao had retired from the professional boxing scene after suffering a loss by unanimous decision against Yordenis Ugas. Holding a record of 62 wins, eight losses, and two draws in the sport, the Filipino great had the option to go for a rematch, but instead, he decided to leave the world of boxing for good.

The exhibition boxing fight between Pacquiao and Banchamek will be contested at 154 pounds, and it will consist of six three-minute rounds with two-minute rest periods. “The Match of The Legends” event is being organised by Fresh Air Festival Co Ltd and SF Corporation from Thailand, and it will be available on pay-per-view.
After the announcement of the fight, Manny Pacquiao went on to say that “This is going to be an amazing fight. I will do my best and give good action for fans to make them happy and enjoy the show.” Moreover, this will be the second exhibition boxing fight for The PacMan after his professional retirement, and his upcoming opponent Buakaw Banchamek is expected to be tougher than DK Yoo previously.
