Chennai Super Kings fast bowler Matheesha Pathirana took social media by storm with his stunning prowess during the IPL 2024 clash against Delhi Capitals. In the 13th fixture of the tournament, Ruturaj Gaikwad-led CSK clashed against Rishabh Pant’s side at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium on March 31, Sunday. DC skipper, who made his comeback in the tournament after missing a year of action, won the toss and chose to bat first.
Delhi started off on a brilliant note with a remarkable batting display by Prithvi Shaw and David Warner. While Delhi were aiming for a big score, CSK’s bowling wizard, Pathirana managed to get a breakthrough with a stunning catch of David Warner and got the five-time winners their much-needed wicket.
