The first Test between Indian and Australia in Nagpur was nothing short of some entertainer. While the Men in Blue restricted the Aussies under 200 after being invited to bat first, they then took a 223-run lead to thump their authority in the match. A similar show continued when the Indian bowlers on the back of Ravichandran Ashwin’s 31st fifer bundled out the visitors at 91.

But on Day 3 of the first Test, Indian skipper was left frustrated for some on-field action. As the Men in Blue waited for the DRS after Ashwin appealed for an LBW in the 18th over, the cameraman bought the focus on Rohit. The on-field umpire did not give the decision in India’s favour with Rohit going to the third umpire.

Rohit Sharma scored a brilliant century to become the only Indian captain to score a century across all three formats of the game. With this he also neared his 17,000 international runs mark with only 108 needed.
