But ahead of this El Classico, England all-rounder took some time off to share a few words on his compatriot Ben Stokes. When asked on who will takeover CSK reigns after MS Dhoni, Moeen Ali responded talking of Ben’s probability. Although Ali also took Ruturaj Gaikwad’s name who can led the Yellow Army in IPL.

“He’s really enjoying himself. I think there’s a chance (that Stokes succeeds Dhoni); of course there’s a chance, because he’s obviously done really well in Test cricket. But MS is still obviously in charge and he’s going to be captain for a while. We have some other guys as well: Ruturaj is a fantastic player with a good head on his shoulders, so depends on what the franchise wants,” Moeen Ali was quoted by ESPNcricinfo.

If reports are to be believed, IPL 2023 could be former Indian skipper MS Dhoni’s last. However, the veteran hasn’t made any official statement on the same.

Talking about the England all-rounder, Moeen Ali is currently participating in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. Ali has taken four wickets from the two matches, same as RCB’s Karn Sharma, GT’s Alzarri Joseph and RR’s Trent Boult.
