Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been able to spend a lot of his time with his family and friends post announcing his retirement from international cricket. While he was recently spotted in Shimla where he posed with the fans for some photos, he was earlier in his farmhouse in Ranchi spending quality time with his family as well as his pet animals. Fans also came to know that MSD bought a brand new pony for his daughter.
And now it is being learned that Dhoni, who will be back to leading the Chennai Super Kings once the season resumes in the United Arab Emirates in September, is already in Dubai. Moreover, he was spotted at a hospital in Dubai interacting with the doctors and frontline workers. The same was confirmed after the official social media handle of Burjeel Hospital in Dubai shared a picture of Dhoni from their facility.
"We were proud to host the legendary MS Dhoni, the former captain of the Indian cricket team, at Burjeel Hospital, Dubai. The “Captain Cool” toured the facility and interacted with the doctors and frontline nurses. We thank him for visiting our facility. @msdhoni," they captioned the post.

England players unlikely to be available for second half of IPL
Although Dhoni has an impeccable record as a captain in the IPL, he failed to lead CSK into the playoffs for the first time in 2020. However, he yet again seemed to have found his mojo in the squad in 2021 as the Men in Yellow were comfortably sitting in second place in the points tally with 5 wins from 7 matches when the tournament had to be suspended after multiple Coronavirus cases emerged inside bio-secure bubbles.
With a big question mark over the availability of the England players for the second half of IPL 2021, Dhoni's CSK could be in a fix as Sam Curran and Moeen Ali- the two Englishmen were the ones who had reignited the spark in the squad this season. Although the franchises would have the option of announcing their replacement, they would need to strike a balance based on the different playing conditions in the middle east.
