Rishi Popawala, a Mumbai Indians fan has gone above and beyond to show his love for the team as he took the Mumbai Indians flag to the highest point in Europe - Mt Jungfraujoch. It is said to be the highest accessible point in Europe which is up to a staggering 3,454m. In the process, he is said to become the first person to take a Mumbai Indians flag to the top of Switzerland as well as Europe. This is said to be the highest a Mumbai Indians flag has ever been unfurled.

Rishi took to Twitter to share this update along with the pictures. “So I’ve officially set 2 records today- 1. I became the first person to take a Mumbai Indians flag to the top of Switzerland as well as Europe - Mt. Jungfraujoch 2. This is the highest a Mumbai Indians flag has ever been," he captioned the post.


The Mumbai Indians fans army and the Mumbai Indians page also acknowledged the achievement. The Mumbai Indians page shared the post and captioned it, “Our #OneFamily, scaling new heights, making us proud! 🥹💙🗻”. MI fans army also posted the pictures along with the caption, “The man @RPopawala officially set 2 records today-1. first person to take a Mumbai Indians flag to the top of Switzerland as well as Europe - Mt. Talking about Mumbai Indians, the franchise had a rather forgettable start. However, the Rohit Sharma-led side is back in the tournament as they are on a three-match winning streak. In their last match, they beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 14 runs. The five-time champions will next face Punjab Kings on April 22.
