Defending champions Mumbai Indians, who have won 5 titles in IPL, has been the most successful franchise in the IPL history. Rohit Sharma has won most IPL finals as player (6) followed by Kieron Pollard with 5 IPL titles. Let us look at some of the records and stats achieved by their team and the players.

200 - Mumbai Indians were the first franchise to play 200 matches in IPL and they remain to be the only team so far to have played (203) more than 200 matches in the tournament. Notably, MI were the first team to win more than 100 games in IPL as well. Currently MI have won 118 games, followed by CSK with 106 wins.

4 - Mumbai Indians have been table toppers of the IPL 4 times (2010, 2017, 2019 & 2020) after the league stage which is most for any team. Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings have been table toppers for 2 times overall in IPL.

150 - Kieron Pollard is the only overseas player to play more than 150 matches for a single IPL franchise. AB de Villiers with 141 matches for RCB is second in the list.

100 - Mumbai Indians is the only team where 3 bowlers took 100 (or) more wickets for the IPL franchise. Lasith Malinga, Harbhajan Singh and Jasprit Bumrah are the 3 bowlers to take more than 100 wickets for MI in IPL.

60.3 - Rohit Sharma as captain has a success rate of 60.3% as captain in IPL, which is most for any IPL captain [Min 10 matches]. Currently Rohit Sharma has won 70 matches in IPL as captain and is just short of MS Dhoni (110 wins) and Gambhir (71 wins).

3 - MI holds the record for winning matches by '1 run' most times (3). In those three times, two of them came in an important moment at 2017 and 2019 finals against RPS (Rising Pune Supergiant) and CSK, respectively.

1 - Sachin Tendulkar was the first Indian player and first captain to win a orange cap in IPL history.

3 - In the last three consecutive IPL seasons, Mumbai Indians players have led the run-scoring chart list among the uncapped players. In 2020, Ishan Kishan has scored 516 runs as uncapped player. In 2018 and 2019, Surya Kumar Yadav had scored most runs in IPL as uncapped player, scoring 512 and 424 runs, respectively.

146 - Mumbai Indians hold the record of winning an IPL game by the largest margin (146 runs vs DC) in 2017 edition. 

7 - Mumbai Indians are the only team to have registered a 100-run partnership for the 7th wicket in IPL. Jagadeesha Suchith and Harbhajan Singh registered a 100-run partnership vs KXIP in IPL 2015.
