Five-time IPL-winning franchise Mumbai Indians achieved another record as they became the first-ever team to complete 150 wins in the history of T20 cricket following their maiden victory in the IPL 2024 on Sunday. MI achieved the feat in their 273rd T20 match that was played against Delhi Capitals at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
The total registered wins excludes the matches that the Hardik Pandya-led side won in Super Over following the tied matches. The total wins are combined from the Indian Premier League and now defunct Champions League T20. The Mumbai Indians franchise has seen great success in both tournaments clinching 5 trophies in the cash-rich league and two in the Champions League.
