Virender Sehwag is long retired from international cricket and is generally seen in the commentary box. But the Najafgarh-born cricketer still hits the ball out of the park on social media with his witty posts, especially on Twitter. Sehwag has always been known for his outspoken nature and the former Indian opener has continued the same on social media as well.

As England and Pakistan put on a run-fest in Rawalpindi in a Test match, the scorecard of India vs Pakistan 1st Test in the Allianz Cup 2006 started doing the rounds on social media. Notably, Pakistan had scored a massive 679/7d in their first innings. Meanwhile, India scored 410/1 in reply and eventually, the match was drawn. While Younis Khan, Mohammad Yousuf, Shahid Afridi, and Kamran Akmal scored centuries for Pakistan, Virender Sehwag (254) and Rahul Dravid (128*) starred for India.

Now, Sehwag shared a screenshot of the scorecard of India’s 1st innings and asked his fans to guess an interesting thing about the Indian 11 that played the game. “Forget the scorecard, one very interesting thing about this Indian 11. Can you point out?” asked Sehwag.

The fans put in their thinking caps and tried to find out the interesting thing. While many guessed that all players in the lineup has a Test hundred, a user replied that Harbhajan Singh was the only spinner in the team. “Just one spinner in Harbhajan,” commented the user.

With Anil Kumble’s name also in there, it was absurd for the user to pick Harbhajan as the only spinner. Pointing out the same, Sehwag left a witty reply. The former Indian opener said that this might infuriate the leg-spinner and also called Kumble India’s greatest match-winner in Tests. “Haha, nahi yaar.. Anil Bhai gussa karenge… India’s greatest match winner in Test cricket,” replied Sehwag.
