Afghanistan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq is having an off-day in Goa ahead of Lucknow Super Giants next match in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. The 23-year-old who last featured in a No Result match against Chennai Super Kings, was not part of the XI in match against defending champions Gujarat Titans. However, he might be back in the XI when LSG next face SRH in Saturday’s double-header on May 13.
The young Afghan pacer is currently having off days and is seen enjoying his trip of Goa. However, amidst his trip to Goa, Naveen shared an Instagram story which had him enjoying some mangoes while watching the ongoing match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The Afghan international came under the limelight after his recent on-field rift with former RCB skipper Virat Kohli. The two involved in a heated exchange with Virat Kohli during the 17th over of the LSG innings in their pursuit of 127 - run target for victory, with the BCCI charging them with breach of IPL Code of Conduct. The fight got more heated after former India cricketer Gautam Gambhir also got involved in it.
