Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant shared an emotional message on his Instagram account as he updated about his condition post-accident. The Indian cricketer met with a horrific car accident on December 30 while travelling from Delhi to Roorkee.

This news completely shook up the cricketing world and hence fellow players and fans were eagerly waiting for an update about his recovery. Pant, in his Insta Story, was spotted sitting outside, enjoying the dusk and reflecting on life after the horror accident.
"Never knew just being able to sit out and breathe fresh air will feel blessed", Pant wrote while sharing the pic.

Talking about the accident, Pant's car crashed into a road divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway between Manglaur and Narsan in the Haridwar district. Pant was brought to Max Hospital Dehradun after receiving primary treatment at Roorkee Civil Hospital. Then after a few days of treatment in Dehradun, Pant was transferred to Mumbai’s Kokilaben hospital.

In Mumbai, Pant underwent two surgeries as official reports suggested he had suffered injuries to his head, back, and feet. The first operation was for the knee ligament tear and the other surgery was for his ankle ligament injury.
