New Zealand Cricket on Thursday announced a 14-member Test squad for the home series against England, starting from February 16.  Pacer Kyle Jamieson, who was recovering from a back injury, has returned to the squad after 7 months for the two-match Test series. Tim Southee will lead the team. 

Apart from Jamieson, the Kiwis have named four specialist pacers in Southee, Neil Wagner, Matt Henry, and Blair Tickner. 

Meanwhile, spinner Ish Sodhi has been retained in the squad along with  Michael Bracewell. However,  Ajaz Patel and Glenn Phillips, who were part of New Zealand's last Test series against Pakistan, have been left out. The first Test will be a pink-ball Test which will be played at the Bay Oval in Tauranga from February 16 to February 20. While the second Test will be played at Cello Basin Reserve in Wellington from February 24 to February 28.
