In just few hours from now, New Zealand and Australia will be battling against each other for the coveted T20 World Cup trophy at the Dubai International Stadium. One between the two will run out of its luck at the coin flip and it will be really interesting to see how the team that loses the toss will cope with the conditions at the start and how the opponent reacts to it.

While many cricket pundits found it hard to predict a winner between the two, some experts have done the tough and risky task. The opinions had to be divided for the sole reason that both the teams are going through sensational form and that their road to the final is equally impressive. A Daryl Mitchell blinder propelled the Kiwis to their first-ever T20 World Cup final, while it was Matthew Wade for Australia who took the side to their second final after a gap of 11 long years.

Time and again, New Zealand have come up trumps: Gavaskar

Ahead of the mega encounter, cricketer-turned-commentator Sunil Gavaskar has opined that the Black Caps won't have to deal with the pressure of expectations as they have come into the tournament with the "underdog tag".

"New Zealand do not have superstar players and thus many followers tend to ignore their capabilities. The Kiwis also probably love the underdog tag as it allows them to focus on their game and they don’t have to deal with the pressure of expectations. Time and again, they have come up trumps, especially in the ICC events and, over the last seven or eight years, they have been the most regular side in the knockouts of the world events," Gavaskar wrote in his column at Khaleej Times.

He feels the most impressive thing about New Zealand team is their quality to hide the pressure they bear during high-profile games. He also heaped praise on Kane Williamson batting and captaincy.

Predicting the winner of the game, the former India skipper said, "As we saw in both the semifinals, the game can turn around in a matter of couple of overs so, it is not easy to predict the outcome."
