Denver Nuggets star Aaron Gordon lost his older brother Drew Gordon reportedly lost his older brother Drew Gordon in a car accident. Gordon played for the Philadelphia 76ers in nine matches during the 2014-15 season. During his college days, Gordon played college basketball at both UCLA and the University of New Mexico. Following his NBA days, Gordon continued his professional career and participated in various international leagues.

According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Drew Gordon reportedly died in a car accident in Portland. The news was tweeted by Andscape’s Marc J. Spears who added that the news of Drew’s passing away was confirmed by his agent Calvin Andrews. Notably, Drew was 33 year old and began his college basketball career with the Bruins and later got transferred to the New Mexico Lobos.

Marc J. Spears tweeted, “Former NBA forward Drew Gordon, the brother of Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon, died in a car accident in Portland, Ore., today, his agent Calvin Andrews confirmed to ESPN Andscape. The San Jose native who played at UCLA and New Mexico was 33 years old.”

Notably, during his tenure with the Lobos, Gordon dominated the court and made a name for himself with his impressive play. In his junior year, Drew had an average 17.5 points and 10.5 rebounds. He went undrafted in 2012 and joined the Dallas Mavericks in the summer league.
