The Men in Blue reclaimed the top spot in the points table after defeating England by 100 runs in to register their sixth win on the trot in the ODI World Cup 2023. But as they are close to confirming the semifinals berth, they will next take on Sri Lanka at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on November 2.
But ahead of the match, the Men in Blue landed in Mumbai on October 30. While the team had their skipper with them, he soon left for his home in his car from the airport. Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav also returned home from the airport soon after landing in Mumbai.

As the side departed from the airport in the team bus, Ishan Kishan as usual was seen poking Shubman Gill, video of which has been doing rounds on social media.
Additionally, former India skipper Virat Kohli didn’t travel with the side as he left for Mumbai before them to spend some time with his family.
Talking more about Team India, the Men in Blue became the second most successful team in the ODI World Cup history having won their 59 th match. While they are second, five-time champion Australia are the most successful having won 73 ODI matches in the 50-over World Cup history.
Apart from Sri Lanka, the Rohit Sharma-led side will face South Africa on November 5 at the Eden Gardens, followed by final league stage match against Netherlands, set to be played on November 12 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
