Garena has confirmed the Free Fire OB47 update release date which is set to be released in December 2024. The Advance Server closed on 29 November 2024, where players could test new features and report bugs to the developers. The highly anticipated Free Fire OB47 Update release date is 4 December 2024. This update will introduce players to the new Winterland, with exciting features and fresh content.

Free Fire OB47 Update features 

The FF OB47 update will add the following features to the game:

Winterland

The new Winterland is coming to the popular battle royale game. Players will experience exciting features like Frosty Tracks and the Festive Clock Tower.

  • Frosty Tracks: Players can slide across the map using these icy tracks.

  • Festive Clock Tower: A special house decorated for Christmas with a snowy theme, a large gate, and a Christmas tree.

Character Updates

A new character named Koda is coming in the upcoming Free Fire OB47 update. This update will also bring character balance adjustments, where some characters’ abilities will be nerfed (reduced) while others will get a buff (improved).

Weapon Updates

A new weapon, the shotgun M590 will be added to the game. Players will also get special finishing moves with this gun and powerful attachments. Additionally, the Sniper Crosshair will now appear at the center of the screen when using a sniper rifle. There will also be some balance adjustments for weapons, similar to the changes for characters in the FF OB47 update.

BR and CS Updates

Players will see updates in both Battle Royale (BR) and Clash Squad (CS) modes in the Free Fire OB47 update. In BR, there is a Vending Machine Rework, and players can earn coins by sliding on Frosty Tracks. In CS, there will be Mushroom Purchase Optimization, making it easier to buy mushrooms. Additionally, Cyber Mushrooms can now be activated using fists or melee weapons.
