Ole Gunner

There is pressure mounting on Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. While the Red Devils tend to taste wins in the middle when the chances are against them, they have somehow failed to be consistent with their performances. As a result, it is not turning out to be a season to remember for the United so far and they are only hanging by a thread so far as the title contention race is concerned.

While one would have thought that Solskjaer would be the man to lead the club ahead after he provided some kind of stability in the side in the build-up to this season and they even managed to include Cristiano Ronaldo in the side who has been in great goal-scoring form himself, the team performance as a whole has not been up to the mark and they have conceded far too many goals for their liking.

However, the former club legend and their current boss still feel that he is not on borrowed time after a 0-2 derby defeat to Manchester City at the Old Trafford on Saturday. This was their fourth defeat in six Premier League games after the 0-5 humiliation they faced against Liverpool.

Have good communication all the time with the club: Solskjaer

When asked if he was feeling that his time with the club was running out, this is what he said.

"No, I don't start to feel like that," Solskjaer told Sky Sports.

"I have good communication all the time with the club that's very up-front and honest about the situation," he added.

He described the team's performance against City as "passive" and hoped that his side will bounce back after the international break which may have come at the right time for them.

Despite his comments, critics and fans alike are calling for his sacking at the club with hashtags like #OleOut and #OleOutNow trending on social media. This will certainly harm Solskjaer's confidence but he has only himself to blame for the poor record and only a winning streak can help bail himself out of this situation.
