He made a 12-of-20 shot from the field and went on to add one steal and two blocks from the defensive end. In the end, LA Lakers celebrated a moment of triumph with their third consecutive NBA title.

Shaquille O’Neal was named as the MVP and this was also third consecutive time that he got this honour along with the Lakers' title wins. Shaq averaged 36.3 points, 12.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists per contest in a four-game final. Overall, as of 2025, LA Lakers have won 17 titles in the NBA history so far. They won their first title in 1949 while their last triumph came in 2020.
