
Indian skipper and star opening batter Rohit Sharma is celebrating his 38th birthday on April 30, 2025. The right-handed batsman has achieved several milestones in his cricketing career so far and is one of the best opening batters to play for the Indian team. 1. Fastest T20I hundred for India: Rohit Sharma boasts a records for smashing the fastest-ever T20I hundred by an Indian batter. The opening batter smashed a century in just 35 balls in a match against Sri Lanka at Holkar Stadium in Indore on December 22, 2017.
2. Highest individual score in ODI innings: Rohit Sharma smashed his second double hundred in an ODI match against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens on November 13, 2014. The right-hander smashed 264 runs off 173 balls, hitting 33 fours and nine sixes.
3. Most sixes in international cricket: Known for his pull shots and ability to his huge sixes, Rohit Sharma has also smashed most number of sixes in international cricket. He has smashed 637 sixes from 499 matches so far.
